I interrupt my regular atomic writing today to bring you a PSA from my friend Fred. He's a filmmaker in New York and just posted this video to YouTube in conjunction with Marriage Equality New York. Although I'm not personally into marriage, I was shocked to hear that "the LGBT community is denied 1,138 federal laws/rights" that are available to those who are married. I thought I should spread the word so this might begin to change.
