Day 139: Limit Case Arrival

"Limit Case": when natural and built forces play out to their most extreme levels, forms, and junctures."

The newness continues today and now you can celebrate our new limit case country with postcards! We had a launch for our LIMIT CASE POSTCARDS on election day. It turned out to be the perfect day to celebrate the huge crossing into something new- and else. Our postcards available for purchase if anyone is intrigued and/or interested.

They were created in response to a 28 day trip throughout the American Southwest and image our encounters with various Limit Cases along the way. You can read a written piece about the experience of the trip in, "Becoming Human | Artist: Humans Moving in Accored with the Change the Makes the World" published in the 2008 issue of the Australian online journal Performance Paradigm (you must log-in to read). Or you can see some of the cards published in August issue of the online photo journal Polar Inertia.

They are available directly on smudge's website or on our page on etsy.com. If you happen to be in L.A. you can pick up a pack at the Center for Land Use Interpretation's store too.

Spread the word and thank you!
