Day 171: Pausing for a sip

Liz with her cup

Yesterday on our way back to the city we stopped in Millerton, NY, home of the Harney & Sons Tasting Room. We had a mini-reunion with our friend Hillel who we met there during our first visit in 2007. At the time, the three of us ended up having a long conversation around the topic of art practices and tea. We were thrilled that he remembered us when we walked through the door yesterday and were astounded that he remembered we had been about to embark on a project called 28 days. Hillel brewed us up about 5 different kinds of tea and we gifted him a set of our Limit Case postcards. It was a fantastic pause and reminder of the power of relational aesthetics.
