On Monday we saw Into the Sunset: Photography's Image of the American West at the MoMA. It was a fascinating show, yet oddly didn't offer much in response to contemporary land-use. This omission (including the nuclear) seems to perpetuate some of the very myths that the show was trying to visualize.
